Nancy Mohrbacher is author of the books for breastfeeding specialists, Breastfeeding Answers Made Simple (BAMS) and the BAMS Pocket Guide Edition.  She is co-author (with Julie Stock) of all three editions of  The Breastfeeding Answer Book, a research-based counseling guide for lactation professionals, which has sold more than 130,000 copies worldwide.  She also has a new book for parents debuting in April 2013, Breastfeeding Solutions: Quick Tips for the Most Common Nursing Challenges.  Visit Nancy’s website at www.nancymohrbacher.com for more information about her work.

ICEA Professional Childbirth Educator Workshop coming to Toronto October 3 and 4, 2013.
 
The Mount Sinai Hospital Prenatal Education Program is excited to be hosting an ICEA Professional Childbirth Educator Workshop on Thursday October 3rd and Friday October 4th.  The workshop is geared towards both new and seasoned Childbirth Educators and attending the entire workshop will meet the contact hour requirement for ICEA Childbirth Educator Certification.  It also provides 16 CEU's for Registered Nurses.  The cost is $400.00 US plus applicable fees, and course information and registration information can be found here.  To find out more about ICEA and the Childbirth Educator Certification process, please go to http://www.icea.org/ and go to the Certification heading.
